Noel Gallagher blames violent games for Britain’s knife crime problem

Oasis' Noel Gallagher has blamed violent videogames as one of the reasons for the knife crime problem among Britain's youth.

Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, the song writer said that violent games desensitise kids from crime, which is "really, really scary," he said.

"I was up in Liverpool for a week a couple of weeks ago and even on the news there it's every single night," said Gallagher.

Greenberg: Wii Customers May ‘Graduate’ To Xbox 360

Talking to Gamasutra as part of a larger interview to be posted in the near future, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg, director of product management for Xbox 360 and Xbox Live, has been commenting on Microsoft's attempts to attract casual gamers, suggesting that Wii customers are "going to want to graduate to an Xbox 360 experience" over time.

Sony is staying hush on when the pulled PS3 2.4 firmware update may be reinstated for download.

You, like CVG, would probably like to at least have a rough idea of how long it may be before Sony fixes the problem and delivers the goods, but in pestering Sony UK today, CVG was told there was "no further update".

Rather than a game, Wii Fit is more comparable to an exercise program. More specifically, it's something that most people would consider playing in short bursts each day. A recent poll, however, shows that close to two-thirds of Japanese gamers are already giving up on the product. ITMedia in Japan took poll data from 1000 gamers and a staggering 64% of the participants said they stopped using Wii Fit after purchase.

Here are some things to expect coming from E3, while some of the info is vague, its definitely something to get excited about….

* God Of War 3 Teaser Trailer (No Actual Gameplay)
* 2 New Exclusive games will be announced - One from Incognito, and the other game being similar to Buzz and Singstar in which its made for casual gamers, but thanks to several features it will also target the hardcore gamer audience.
* MAJOR new feature will be announced for Little Big Planet

MGS4 DLC available - Two new camouflages

Via PS3Fanboy - Available for free download, MGS4 has two new camouflages available right now. The new digs (Laughing Camo and Raging Camo) will effect enemies in the game you engage in CQC. Dependent on which one you have equipped, enemies will laugh or go into a rage respectively. Be on the lookout for Screaming Camo and Crying Camo!
