The patient gamer sometimes has the tendency of having the last laugh. Expect $90 to fall of the price of the GeForce GTX 280 and $30 to be removed from the GeForce GTX 260 price tomorrow. You can already see signs of this at NewEgg.com where every GeForce GTX 280 is priced below the original $649 MSRP.
